Richelieu Prison: An Inmate Escapes

Jean Dany Noyau, a 30-year-old inmate, escaped from the Open Prison of Richelieu this Saturday. He was imprisoned for theft and had been sentenced to seven months in prison on February 16, 2026.

The police are currently searching for the fugitive. The prison commissioner reminds the public that providing shelter or hiding a fugitive inmate is a criminal offense.
