International Women's Rights Day: Financial Violence Soon to be Recognized as a Crime

"We are progressing on the Domestic Abuse Bill, and this will not just be a reform, but a change in civilization." These were the words of the Minister for Gender Equality, Arianne Navarre-Marie, this morning in celebration of International Women's Rights Day at the Côte d'Or National Sports Complex.

According to the minister, for the first time, financial violence will be recognized as a crime, on par with physical abuse against women.
