Beaux Songes: Three Arrests Following FCC Search

Three individuals were arrested by the Financial Crimes Commission (FCC) on the afternoon of March 9, following a search conducted at the home of a resident in Beaux Songes. The arrested individuals are Keshore Kumar Baboolall, Marie Anne Kelly Desales, and Louis Claude Denis Verloppe. The man is regarded as a "major player" and is suspected of being a key link in a synthetic drug trafficking network operating in the western part of the country, making him a target for investigators. His niece, along with a resident from Camp Fouquereaux who allegedly acted as a front for this case, has also been questioned by the investigators. During this operation, FCC officials seized four vehicles, including a motorcycle, and several mobile phones were also recovered. The three suspects will spend the night at the Moka Detention Centre.
