On Wednesday, March 11, a banquet was held at the Swami Vivekananda International Convention Centre in Pailles, in honor of Patrick Herminie, the President of the Republic of Seychelles. Among the guests were Prime Minister Dr. Navin Ramgoolam, Minister of Education Mahend Gungapersad, Joanna Bérenger, the Junior Minister of Environment, and other distinguished figures. President Herminie is visiting Mauritius as the guest of honor for the celebrations of the 58th Independence Anniversary and the 34th Anniversary of the Republic.
