Fatal Fire in La Caverne: A Sixty-Year-Old Woman Succumbs to Her Burns

A resident of La Caverne in Vacoas passed away on the night of Wednesday, March 11 to Thursday, March 12, following a fire that broke out in her home. The 61-year-old woman was found unconscious in her bedroom by her daughter, who had been alerted earlier by a neighbor who noticed smoke coming from the house. Upon arriving at the scene, the daughter discovered her mother severely burned. Emergency services provided initial care before transporting her to the hospital.
