Mobilization Against Drug Trafficking: Dharam Gokhool: "Over 1,500 Investigations and Rs 20 Billion Under Investigation"

The Financial Crimes Commission (FCC) has intensified its efforts against drug trafficking in Mauritius, engaging both public institutions and civil society. According to the President of the Republic, Dharam Gokhool, there are currently over 1,500 investigations underway, involving approximately Rs 20 billion in assets under scrutiny. This initiative combines enforcement, prevention, and awareness efforts to target not only traffickers but also their financial resources.
