State Visit: Patrick Herminie Concludes His Stay in Mauritius

President Patrick Herminie of Seychelles departed from Mauritius on Saturday afternoon, March 14, after a four-day state visit. He arrived on Wednesday, March 11, as the guest of honor for the 58th anniversary celebrations of Mauritius' independence, notably participating in the official flag-raising ceremony at Champ-de-Mars.

During his stay, the Seychellois head of state met with the President of the Republic, Dharam Gokhool, and Prime Minister Navin Ramgoolam to discuss strengthening cooperation between Mauritius and Seychelles.

Discussions focused on various topics, including fishing, the blue economy, air connectivity, education, and sustainable management of marine resources in the Indian Ocean region.
