Rodrigues: No Warning of Heavy Rain in Effect

The heavy rain warning issued for Rodrigues was lifted this Monday at 4:10 AM.

Currently, there are no warnings in effect on the island.

According to meteorological services, the active clouds that were influencing the weather have shifted south, resulting in a decreased risk of heavy rainfall.

However, other clouds coming from the east of Rodrigues may cause moderate rain, sometimes accompanied by thunderstorms.

The public is strongly advised to avoid flooded areas and submerged roads.

In case of thunderstorms, it is recommended to stay in safe places, avoid open spaces, hiking, and sea outings, and not to seek shelter under trees.
