Allegations of Abuse: Frédéric Pavaday Remains in Custody

Frédéric Pavaday, a former music teacher, has been remanded in police custody until March 24. He appeared in court in Curepipe this morning.

During the hearing, a CID officer from Curepipe requested a one-week extension of his detention to continue the investigation, citing concerns related to the suspect's safety.

It is worth noting that this former teacher from Loreto Junior School in Curepipe is facing four provisional charges. A minor, who is a former student of the school, accuses him of inappropriate touching and making inappropriate comments.

Frédéric Pavaday, a resident of Riche-Terre, was arrested on February 24, following a complaint filed by this former student, who was twelve years old at the time of the alleged incidents.
