Murder at Forest-Side: Suspect Marie-Isabelle Ang-Ho Still Hospitalized

Marie-Isabelle Ang-Ho remains hospitalized at Brown-Séquard Hospital until March 24. Due to her health condition, the young woman was unable to appear in front of the Curepipe court this morning.

Magistrate Shavina Jugnauth has instructed the police to submit a medical report at the next hearing.

For reference, 22-year-old Marie-Isabelle Ang-Ho was arrested on March 10 after confessing to the murder of Rebecca Laretif at the Mon Destin shelter in Forest-Side.

According to initial investigation findings, a dispute over a cake is believed to be the cause of this fatal assault.
