At the Court: Kriteshsingh Bunghooye Sentenced to 45 Years in Prison for the Murder of His Wife

This 33-year-old man fatally stabbed his wife, Sujaya Bunghooye, whom he suspected of infidelity. He pleaded guilty to the charge of murder in the court of assizes.

The crime occurred on February 2, 2020, in Poste-de-Flacq. The victim, who was 23 years old at the time, was a mother of two young children. She was on her way to work when her husband attacked her.
