MSDTF: Bhojraj Ghoorbin Announces a Ganesh Temple at Ganga Talao

The president of the Mauritius Sanatan Dharma Temples Federation (MSDTF), Bhojraj Ghoorbin, announced the upcoming construction of a temple dedicated to Ganesh at Ganga Talao. He made this statement during a press conference held on Monday, March 16, 2026, after being re-elected for a third term as MSDTF president.

"Our next goal is to build a temple dedicated to Ganesh at Ganga Talao. This is a significant project, as there is currently no temple in that location. We will construct it at the Divine Museum, on land owned by the Mauritius Sanatan Dharma Temples Federation, and I believe the work will commence very soon," stated Bhojraj Ghoorbin.

He also mentioned that the first phase of the Sanatan Vatika Centre project will be launched shortly. This initiative includes establishing a convention center at the Réduit site, intended for religious and cultural activities.

Furthermore, Bhojraj Ghoorbin attributed his team's victory in the recent MSDTF election to the ongoing efforts of the Hindu Rakshak Sena within the Hindu community since 2020.
