Our Music: Davy Sicard - Between Creole Roots and Modernity with Kafé Griyé
During his visit to Mauritius, Davy Sicard introduces Kafé Griyé, an album that marks a return to roots, featuring a revisited sega péi blended with his maloya influences. Through 12 tracks, he explores love as well as social themes, while affirming his attachment to Creole culture. As part of the Étoiles en Herbe event, the artist also shares his experience with young Mauritian talents. He will perform in concert this Friday, March 20, at Njoy.
