The War Costs Israel 320 Million Dollars a Day
Israeli military expenditures during the first 20 days of the war against Iran have reached approximately 6.4 billion dollars, according to the daily newspaper Haaretz citing anonymous sources.
The report states that daily expenses average around one billion shekels, equivalent to about 320 million dollars.
The total budget allocated for managing the conflict is estimated at nearly 39 billion shekels (around 12.5 billion dollars). At this rate, it is possible to estimate the duration of the offensive, the sources indicate.
The Israeli army is also preparing to request additional funding.
On Sunday, the Israeli government approved an emergency budget allocation of 825 million dollars for the purchase of "urgent security supplies," amidst a growing shortage of interceptor missiles.
Furthermore, Tel Aviv is expected to revise its 2026 budget to finance these acquisitions, according to Channel 12.
These figures highlight the escalating financial cost of the conflict.
The United States has spent approximately 12 billion dollars since the onset of military operations, as stated by Kevin Hassett, an economic advisor at the White House.
The Pentagon has also requested the White House to approve additional funding of over 200 billion dollars to submit to Congress.
The American-Israeli strikes against Iran began on February 28 and have reportedly caused around 1,300 deaths to date, including the supreme leader Ali Khamenei.
