Kheshaw Jhummun Resigns from SILWF and Advocates for 'True Activism'

"I have submitted my resignation from my position as a lawyer for the Sugar Industry Labour Welfare Fund (SILWF). True to my ethics, I will never compromise on the fundamental principles that guide my journey. I fully adhere to the principles of true activism." This is what Kheshaw Jhummun wrote in a Facebook post on Monday afternoon. This resignation comes amidst turmoil within the MMM, following Paul Bérenger's resignation as Deputy Prime Minister. Several departures have been recorded since Friday, including that of Kishore Pertab, Senior Adviser (Policy and Strategy) at the Deputy Prime Minister's office.
