Allegations of Abuse: Frédéric Pavaday Remains in Custody Until March 31

Former music teacher Frédéric Pavaday will remain in police custody until Tuesday, March 31. He appeared before the Curepipe court on March 24. During the hearing, the police opposed his release. His lawyer, Me Sachin Boodhoo, filed a motion for his bail to be granted at the next hearing.

It is important to note that this former music teacher at Loreto Junior School in Curepipe faces four provisional charges. Pavaday, a resident of Riche-Terre, was arrested on February 24 following a complaint lodged by a former student who is 12 years old. The minor accuses him of alleged inappropriate touching and making inappropriate comments.
