Chikungunya: 53 New Cases Reported in 24 Hours, Ministry Sounds Alarm

On Thursday, March 26, the Ministry of Health and Wellness reported 53 cases of chikungunya in hospitals. The affected areas include Plaisance, Rose-Hill, Camp-Le-Vieux, and Péreybère, among others. To date, there are 108 active cases. Health services are closely monitoring the situation to contain the virus's spread and reduce the risk of infection within the population.
