Household Gas: The 12 kg Cylinder Increases from Rs 190 to Rs 250, a Rise of Rs 60

The price of household gas is rising. The 12 kg cylinder will now cost Rs 250, up from Rs 190, marking an increase of Rs 60.

This new price will take effect at midnight.

The Minister of Commerce, speaking live on Radio Plus, attributed this increase to the surge in gas prices in the international market due to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.

Michael Sik Yuen stated that the prices of other "commodities" may also rise soon, without providing further details.

He clarified that petrol is not at risk for the time being.
