Accident in Bonne-Terre: Motorcyclist Succumbs to Injuries

A 65-year-old motorcyclist died on Friday afternoon at Candos Hospital, less than 24 hours after an accident in Bonne-Terre, Vacoas.

The man was struck by a bus on Thursday around 11:30 AM on the main road. Severely injured, he was admitted to intensive care. His death was confirmed around 3:30 PM on Friday.

An autopsy determined that the cause of death was multiple injuries.

The 56-year-old bus driver is currently under police investigation for involuntary manslaughter.
