Chamouny: A Resident Reports the Abandonment of Dogs in Nature

A resident of Chamouny claims to have witnessed a troubling scene on Friday afternoon near his banana field close to the Vallée des Couleurs. He explains that he saw a van release several dogs in the area.

According to his account, about fifteen dogs were abandoned that day. He specifies that he recognized the van.

The resident mentions that he even spoke with the driver, who indicated that he found this location ideal for dropping off the animals.

Concerned, he pointed out to the driver that this place was not suitable since the dogs would not find food there.

Additionally, the resident notes that he regularly sees stray dogs near his field, but this is the first time he has seen a vehicle come and drop off these animals.

Furthermore, he explains that an acquaintance of his also reported seeing the same van on the road towards Grand Bassin, having overtaken it while traveling from Grand Bassin to Mont-Blanc.
