MauPass: A National Campaign to Facilitate Access to Online Public Services

According to a press release issued on June 12 by the Ministry of Information Technology, Communication, and Innovation, a major national campaign will kick off this Saturday, June 14, 2025, to encourage the public to register for MauPass, the government's single authentication application.
This initiative, organized in collaboration with Mauritius Post Ltd, aims to assist citizens in creating their MauPass accounts, an essential tool for accessing online public services in a simple, quick, and secure manner.
The first phase of the campaign will take place in four shopping centers from 10 AM to 4 PM:
• Tribeca Mall
• Trianon Shopping Park
• Phoenix Mall (near Courts)
• Jumbo Riche Terre (near Courts)
Teams from Mauritius Post and IT specialists will be on-site to guide users step by step.
This campaign marks a key milestone towards a fully digital administration, as outlined in the Digital Transformation Blueprint 2025–2029. In the future, services like e-Health, e-Education, and e-Social Security will also be available through MauPass.
The ministry calls on all citizens to actively participate in this digital transition and to create their MauPass accounts to benefit from these digital services.
