No ambassador resignations after Paul Bérenger's departure, says Ramgoolam

No Mauritian ambassador has resigned following the departure of Paul Bérenger as Deputy Prime Minister. This was stated by Prime Minister Navin Ramgoolam during the Prime Minister’s Question Time (PMQT) at the National Assembly on Tuesday, April 7.

He was responding to a question from Adrien Duval, while Labour MP Raviraj Beechook inquired about the case of Danielle Perrier, Mauritius's High Commissioner to Mozambique, to determine if this close associate of the MMM had resigned.

The head of government further added that 18 resignations had been recorded in public organizations, six in advisory positions, three within state-owned enterprises, and four in state institutions.
