Murder in Pointe-aux-Biches: Johny Michel William Sanassee Sentenced to Life Imprisonment

Johny Michel William Sanassee, 27, has been sentenced to life imprisonment. The verdict was delivered in the Assize Court on Wednesday, April 8th.

This resident of Pointe-aux-Biches was found guilty of the murder of Jean Jayce Donovan Clovis. The sentence was pronounced by Judge Medhi Manrakhan. The accused had pleaded guilty on November 4, 2025, during his trial.

The events date back to February 22, 2022, on Carangue Avenue, in the Ramdhony subdivision of Pointe-aux-Biches.
