Anba Manikham Arrested This Morning by the FCC: Charge: 'Public Official Using Office for Gratification'

Anba Manikham, former Senior Manager of Ground Services Worldwide at Air Mauritius Ltd, was arrested this Wednesday morning by the Financial Crimes Commission (FCC) for "public official using office for gratification." He allegedly sold a company Audi Q5 to his partner while still employed, without going through a bidding process. The transaction was for Rs 200,000, despite the SUV being valued at Rs 750,000. His partner has also been apprehended by the FCC.
