In Floréal, Salette Siao leads an active retreat, engaging in personal activities, artistic expression, and maintaining a presence on social media. A former teacher and principal of Keats College, she dedicated a significant part of her life to education before fully embracing her musical passions.

Coming from the Tsang Man Kin lineage, she grew up in a large family in Ward IV of Port-Louis. As the youngest of 12 siblings, she developed a sense of responsibility and creativity at an early age.
