Crisis Committee - Mahend Gungapersad: "No Measures Will Be Taken Against the Well-Being of Our Children"

"We will not take any measures that would go against the well-being or education of our children," stated the Minister of Education, Mahend Gungapersad, following a crisis committee meeting chaired by the Prime Minister yesterday.

When asked about the possibility of prioritizing remote learning, he refrained from making a statement. However, the minister mentioned that he has taken note of the comments made by MMM Member of Parliament, Joanna Bérenger, as well as those made by other experts in the field regarding this matter.

According to him, measures are expected to be announced at the Cabinet meeting scheduled for tomorrow.
