Economy: Tourist Arrivals: 114,924 Visitors in March, Tourism Remains Steady

The tensions in the Middle East, rising airfares, and disruptions in certain international connections continue to impact the sector by disorganizing traffic and increasing travel costs. In this context, the recovery remains modest. According to data from Statistics Mauritius, arrivals grew by 1.3% year-on-year in March, with 114,924 visitors recorded, bringing the total for the first quarter to 348,445 entries, marking an increase of 6.8% compared to the previous year.
