Public Transport: No Increase in Bus Ticket Prices, Assures Osman Mahomed

Despite the rise in diesel prices, no increase in bus ticket fares is planned at this time. This was stated by the Minister of Transport, Osman Mahomed, following the Cabinet meeting this Friday, in response to a question from Radio Plus.

The Minister clarified that the bus ticket price is based on Rs 40, from which adjustments are made automatically.
