Disclosure of a Minor's Identity in Allegations Against Frédéric Pavaday: Me Goodary Released After Interrogation
Lawyer Anoup Goodary was allowed to leave the Central CID premises after about two hours of questioning. He was interviewed 'under warning' as part of an investigation regarding the publication, last February, of a police report on his Facebook page. The document notably contained the name of a minor, related to the Frédéric Pavaday case.
Anoup Goodary was accompanied by his lawyers, Sanjeev Teeluckdharry and Rama Valayden.
Upon his exit, lawyer Rama Valayden stated that the investigation should now be allowed to proceed. The case will be forwarded to the Director of Public Prosecutions, who will decide on the next steps to take.
