Henrietta: Commencement of the NSLD Housing Unit Handover

The Acting Prime Minister, Shakeel Mohamed, announced on his Facebook page this Thursday that the handover of housing units from the New Social Living Development (NSLD) in Henrietta 3, located in constituency No. 16 (Vacoas-Floréal), has commenced.

In total, 44 families are moving into their new homes as part of this first phase of delivery.

Shakeel Mohamed stated that both the NSLD and the National Housing Development Company (NHDC) are working to address outstanding issues at other affected sites.

He also assured that the allocation process is being conducted transparently, fairly, and based on merit, prioritizing those who have been waiting the longest.

Following this initial batch of 44 beneficiaries, more key handovers are planned in the coming weeks, particularly in Grand Bel Air, Valetta, and other locations.
