Rodrigues: Government Mobilization After Floods, Expanded Aid for Victims

A month after the floods on March 15, the government is ramping up its support for the affected families in Rodrigues. The Minister of Social Integration, Social Security and National Solidarity, Ashok Subron, visited the island on Monday, April 14, as part of an official visit focused on solidarity.

Upon his arrival, the minister conducted a field visit to assess the extent of the damage and meet with the victims. This visit aims to provide immediate assistance and gather information on the needs of those affected by the disaster.
