Camp-de-Masque: Man Arrested for Drug Dealing

On the evening of April 14, police officers from the Camp-de-Masque station arrested a resident of Mare-aux-Goyaves. His suspicious behavior drew their attention as he attempted to hide an object in his helmet. During a search, the police found a transparent container holding suspicious leaves.

When questioned after being informed of his rights, he claimed that he kept part of the substance for personal use while selling the rest. Rs 11,296 were seized during the body search. A subsequent search of his home did not uncover any other illegal products. The individual is currently in custody at the Quartier-Militaire police station.
