More than two weeks after the fire that destroyed several stalls at Victoria Urban Terminal, the affected traders have yet to receive any assistance from the authorities to resume their activities.

In light of this situation, Hyder Raman, president of the Victoria Urban Terminal Stall Holders Association, is making an urgent appeal for help.

He is calling for prompt government intervention to enable the vendors to restart their businesses.

His message is particularly directed to the acting Prime Minister, Shakeel Mohamed.
