Bhagwan Responds to Joanna Bérenger: "You Can't Play Two Roles in Life"

"It is not possible when you are involved, you participated in meetings, and today you come to speak, hands tied, while I do not need to be fixed. Joanna Bérenger was the Junior Minister. You cannot play two roles in life." Rajesh Bhagwan reacted to a post that Joanna Bérenger published on her Facebook page yesterday.

"Mare Chicose blocked once again: why are decisions not being made that should have been made over a year ago? This is what happens when you do not listen because hands are tied!"

The Minister of Environment was responding to a question from the press regarding the strike that occurred yesterday at Mare-Chicose, disrupting operations at the landfill site. This followed the meeting of the central committee of the Mauritian Militant Movement (MMM) on Saturday afternoon, April 18.

The movement originated from truck owners operating as contractors for the Sotravic company, who are denouncing several months of unpaid wages and tensions related to the organization of their activities.

For Rajesh Bhagwan, Joanna Bérenger's approach is "low-level politics."
