FCC: 26 Arrests and Freezing of Rs 160 Million in Three and a Half Months
In a span of three and a half months, from December 10, 2025, to March 31, 2026, the Financial Crimes Commission (FCC) has made twenty-six arrests and frozen Rs 160 million. This information was shared in the second edition of the commission's bulletin published on Tuesday evening.
Based in Réduit Triangle, the commission provided an update on its operations since the beginning of 2026. A total of 70 searches were conducted, leading to the arrest of twenty-six suspects as part of various investigations.
Under the theme “Do not become complicit with traffickers through our actions or inactions,” the FCC reported a coordinated effort among various departments, including investigators, the asset recovery department, and the unit dedicated to education and prevention, as well as its legal department.
During the mentioned months (December 2025 to March 2026), 108 cases were referred for trial after investigation.
The commission stated that it received and examined 824 complaints.
