Weather: Showers Expected in the East and Central Plateau This Wednesday

Clouds from the eastern sector are influencing the local weather. The sky will be partly cloudy with showers mainly affecting the eastern half of the island and the central plateau. These showers will be temporarily of moderate intensity, with isolated thunderstorm risks. Pockets of fog are also expected in the highlands.

Maximum temperatures will range between 25 and 27 degrees Celsius in the elevated areas and between 29 and 31 degrees Celsius along the coastal regions.

Minimum temperatures will be between 19 and 21 degrees Celsius in the highlands and between 23 and 25 degrees Celsius on the coast.

Winds will blow from the east at about 20 km/h, with gusts reaching up to 50 km/h. The sea will be rough beyond the reefs, gradually becoming strong with swells from the southwest measuring around 2.5 meters this afternoon.

Sea outings are discouraged starting this afternoon.
