Earth Day: Rajesh Bhagwan Calls for Collective Responsibility
On Earth Day, the Minister of Environment, Rajesh Bhagwan, has made a call for collective responsibility.
He emphasized that air quality remains a significant issue for the country, asserting that everyone must take action to better protect the environment. According to him, implementing regulations is necessary to ensure better air quality, and these rules, he insists, must be respected by all.
The minister also expressed concern over many cases of negligence, while affirming that he fully assumes his responsibilities in this portfolio.
When asked about rumors regarding the potential appointment of Arianne Navarre-Marie as Deputy Prime Minister following Paul Bérenger's resignation, he declined to comment, stating that political topics were not to be discussed in this context.
Rajesh Bhagwan spoke on Wednesday morning during a workshop organized at the University of Mascareignes, which focused on artificial intelligence, robotics, and air quality.
