Parliament: Police: The Finance Section Facing a Reduced Workforce

Deputy Ludovic Caserne questioned the Prime Minister regarding the staffing levels of the Finance and Revenue Section of the Mauritius Police Force. In his response, the Prime Minister, citing the police commissioner, emphasized that this section should comprise 62 officers from the Finance Framework. However, it is currently operating with only 48 personnel. Specifically, there are two managers, five assistant managers, nine Principal Financial Operations Officers, and eight Financial Operations Officers.
