PQ: Presence of Fathers in Pediatric Services

MP Sandeep Prayag questioned Minister Bachoo about the policy allowing parents to be present in the pediatric services of public hospitals, following concerns regarding the presence of fathers in these services. The Minister of Health stated that his ministry promotes family-centered care tailored for children, allowing a parent or guardian, usually the mother, to stay by the child's bedside, in accordance with the internal regulations.
