In Rodrigues, 3,058 individuals have downloaded the Korek application. In Mauritius, that number stands at 406,000. This digital divide between the two islands of the Republic is evident in these figures, as Minister Avinash Ramtohul announces an upcoming visit to the island to expedite the deployment of the government app.

Launched on January 30, Korek is part of the Blueprint for Mauritius 2025-2029, the government's strategic document.
