From Assault to Tragedy: A Man Dies After Three Weeks in Intensive Care

Severely injured during an assault that took place on April 2 at his home in Circonstance, St-Pierre, Eric Lindsey Nicholas Sergio Adroit, 52, passed away on Wednesday afternoon at Dr A. G. Jeetoo Hospital in Port-Louis. His death was confirmed by the on-duty physician, after which the case was referred to the police. An autopsy performed that evening at the hospital's morgue by the forensic doctor determined the cause of death to be septic shock.
