Port-Louis: Seizure of Rs 240,000 worth of ‘papie tranpe simik’, heroin, and synthetic drugs
The Anti-Drug and Smuggling Unit (ADSU) of Abercrombie, led by Inspector Lepois, conducted a successful raid on Saturday at a house in Batterie Cassée, Roche-Bois.
At the residence of one Nicolas Christopher Louis, also known as ‘Ti Louis’, investigators discovered various drugs intended for sale. The seizure included pieces of paper soaked in synthetic substances, two plastic bags containing heroin and synthetic drugs, 45 doses of heroin, 29 doses of synthetic drugs, as well as nine pre-cut pieces of paper already soaked in synthetic drugs.
An amount of Rs 26,225, suspected to be from drug sales, was also confiscated.
The total market value of these drugs is estimated at Rs 240,000.
The alleged trafficker has been arrested by the ADSU.
