Île Plate: Man Goes Missing During Sea Outing

A 52-year-old man has gone missing at Île Plate during a sea outing on Saturday, April 25. According to a skipper's report, he had drifted away for a stroll but did not return to the meeting point.

A search operation was launched quickly. The National Coast Guard conducted searches in the lagoon as well as on the island in an attempt to locate the missing individual. The search continued on Sunday with the assistance of the Police Dog Unit.
