PMQT: EDB, Cybercrime Unit, St Louis Case, Drugs, Prison, and MPF on the Agenda

Twenty-five questions have been submitted to the Clerk of the National Assembly for the Prime Minister's Question Time (PMQT) scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday, April 28, 2026.

The first question will be raised by PTr MP Roshan Jhummun, focusing on police officers arrested in drug-related cases since 2014. MP Raviraj Beechook will seek details from Prime Minister Navin Ramgoolam regarding the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the EDB.

Other topics to be discussed include the Cybercrime Unit and the number of recorded cases, the revenue collected by the state from taxes, prison services, phone tapping, the St Louis case, Air Mauritius, and the reserves of the Bank of Mauritius, among others.
