Rose-Hill Police Station: Fire Contained in a Cell
A fire broke out on Saturday, April 25th, early in the evening in a cell at the Rose-Hill police station. Alerted at around 6:50 PM, the police quickly evacuated the five detainees, while the Divisional Support Unit and Ops Room intervened to control the flames.
According to initial reports from a detainee, food packaging is believed to have ignited before a mattress was used in an attempt to extinguish the fire.
