MMM: 28 Members of the Regional Committee of Constituency No. 4 Resign

Twenty-eight members from various branches of the regional committee for Constituency No. 4 (Port-Louis North/Montagne-Longue) of the MMM have resigned from all party positions.

A letter regarding this was sent on Monday, April 27, to both the secretary of the regional committee for Constituency No. 4 and the general secretary of the MMM.

In their correspondence, they explain the reasons for their departure, specifically mentioning Paul Bérenger's resignation as Deputy Prime Minister.

Some believe that the current collegiate leadership of the party is no longer aligned with the "moral and ethical values" that initially motivated them to join the MMM. Others emphasize that Paul Bérenger's resignation marks a "decisive turning point."
