National Drug Control Commission: A 'Masterplan' 2026-2030 to Structure the National Response

The government is ramping up its fight against drugs. A significant milestone was reached on Thursday, April 23, with the first meeting of the National Drug Control Commission (NDCC), chaired by Prime Minister Navin Ramgoolam. The National Drug Control Masterplan 2026-2030 was also approved during this meeting.

In addition to the head of government, this body includes 12 ministers whose portfolios are related to the issue.
