Labour Day: "We Paid Tribute," says Paul Bérenger

Paul Bérenger, Joanna Bérenger, and Chetan Baboolall laid wreaths yesterday at three memorial sites, accompanied by supporters, in observance of Labour Day celebrated today. The group first paid tribute to Fareed Muttur, a former activist, at the Riche-Terre cemetery, before proceeding to the Quai square to honor the tribunes Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam, Sir Anerood Jugnauth, and Basdeo Bissoondoyal. The day concluded in St-Jean.
