Cannabis Reform: NADC Launches Extensive National Consultation Initiative

The reform of cannabis policy in Mauritius has reached a new phase. During a press conference held yesterday, the National Agency for Drug Control (NADC), led by its Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Kunal Naik, initiated the work of a technical committee tasked with thoroughly examining various options related to cannabis, ranging from decriminalization to potential regulated legalization.

Seated at the table is a multidisciplinary group composed of experts in various fields, who will contribute to this important discussion.
