Cité La Chaux, Mahébourg: Revolver, Synthetic Drugs, and Cash Seized

A successful operation by the anti-drug squad in Mahébourg took place on Friday, May 1, at Cité Tôle, Cité La Chaux. During a search conducted at the home of a man named Jean David Marchand, 42 years old, police officers discovered a revolver loaded with four bullets, 172 packets containing synthetic drugs, and a sum of Rs 23,350 in cash, believed to be the proceeds from drug sales. The alleged dealer has been arrested. The operation was led by Inspector Ramtohul, under the supervision of Police Superintendent Ghoora and Assistant Superintendent Sooknah from the ADSU Southern.
